so... yea. im a bit pissed off. (and this post doesnt get colour because im not happy. infact, im probably the polar opposite of happy. im just acting happy so people dont worry so much about me)
SCENE:
thursday night at garfs. locals night. lots of fun. lots of beer. good people.
one of the better nights out in the last little while for sure.
then... the lights come on we all get booted out... thats fine. i often help close up a bar.
as im walking outside i hear some dude chanting "lets go oilers!"... i thought it'd be fun to just joke around and say "lets go hurricanes!" no big deal, right? just some friendly rivalry stuff going on. this random hero didnt like that. so he got all in my face screaming "lets go oilers!" and im backing up trying to avoid a fight. then he took my legs out from under me (fair fighting, y'know) then laughed. i get up... tell him i dont wanna fight him... just to chill.
then my mind is blank. i have no recollection of what happened.
i heard it going down a-like-dis:
so i got to my feet. told him to chill. then he punched me in the face a few times and threw me back and either tripped or fell over... something. on my way up, he wound up and kicked me as hard as he could in the face. (to my knowledge i didnt throw one punch. fighting is for retards. i dont consider myself a retard)
he was quickly grabbed by the bouncers who did what ever they did with him (i hear it wasnt too good for him) and i was picked up, given a cloth full of ice then sat down and waited for the cops to show up.
this is where my memory came back. i remember thm asking if i wanted to press charges and i quickly responded with a "f*ck yes"
so now im in a bunch of debt from going to the city to get this all checked out. i ha ve a CT scan scheduled for monday. and a whole bunch of follow up days. im really not to excited about it all.
so all of this over a hockey team?
i have possible permanent sight damage. is that really worth it because some guy loves his oilers so much?
i cant wait to go to court and f*ck this guy over legally.
