Words of Wisdom

a fact has scarcely happened five minutes before its genuine kernel has vanished, been camouflaged, embellished, disfigured, squashed, annihilated by imagination and self-interest; shame, fear, generosity, malice, opportunism, charity, all the passions, good as well as evil, fling themselves onto the fact and tear it to pieces; very soon it has vanished altogether

Just the teams that didn't make the playoffs.

1. Miami (1-15) - Glen Dorsey Makes even more sense with the Parcels hiring as they move to the 3-4.
2. St. Louis (3-13) Jake Long Offensive line was terrible this year, he can play RT if Pace manages to stay healthy and LT if he doesn't.
3T. Atlanta (4-12) Matt Ryan They need a QB, and he'll probably have the best grade in the combine.
3T. Kansas City (4-12) Ryan Clady They have alot of holes on offense. Clady helps solidify the line to keep Croyle upright and give Johnson some room to run. A WR like DeSean Jackson would give the Chiefs a potent WR corp for years to come.
3T. Oakland (4-12)Darren McFadden It will be hard for him to drop very far. And even 5 seems like a stretch. Very possible someone trades up to get McFadden.
6. New York Jets (4-12) Chris Long He fits really well with their 3-4 scheme. Although I have my doubts about him. I read somewhere he's 26. 26. For a rookie. I look the other way.
7. New England (from San Francisco) (5-11) James Laurinaitis Aging lineback core needs a bolt of youth. And if he comes out, he's the best LB in the draft.
8. Baltimore (5-11) Brian Brohm Probably as good now as he ever will be. Woodson has the higher upside, but Baltimore needs someone who can come in and win now.
9. Cincinnati (7-9) Sedrick Ellis They need help all over the defense. Ellis is disruptive enough in the middle to help out the rest of the defense.
10. New Orleans (7-9) Rey Maualuga If he comes out. He was amazing in the Rose Bowl and has all the skills to wow all the scouts and front office guys.
11T. Buffalo (7-9) Sam Baker They've had problems with first round OT's, but Baker could be a stabalizing force for the line and would really help Marshawn Lynch.
11T. Denver (7-9) Derrick Harvey They need someone to rush the passer. They could also use some help on the back end of the secondary so Phillips is a possibility.
13. Carolina (7-9) Kenny Phillips The next great saftey for "Da U" He's not Ed Reed or Sean Taylor, but he's very good and will be a defensive playmaker for years.
14T. Detroit (7-9) Vernon Gholston Where did this guy come from? He's rocketing up draft boards and could go higher. Detroit has a bunch of holes scattered around the team and a pass rushing DE would be a big help.
14T. Chicago (7-9) Andre Woodson The fans hate Rex, who by my guess will go somewhere else and blossom, and Griese and Orton aren't the answer. Woodson has the highest upside of any QB in the draft and should lead the Bears back to competitiveness.
16. Arizona (8-8) Mike Jenkins Alot of people might say Malcolm Jenkins, but Mike is he better fit for Arizona who already have big physical corner in Antrel Rolle, who should get moved in to saftey after this pick.
17. Minnesota (8-8) Calais Campbell Cause Kenchi Udeze has worked so well for us from USC. DeSean Jackson is also a very legitimate possibility, but with the failure of Troy Williamson, I'm not sure Jackson would be welcomed by the fans.
18. Houston (8-8) Steve Slaton Can be a game changing back and Houston needs a back. An offensive lineman couldn't hurt here either. But I'm guessing they'll grab one of the Junior RB's.
19.. Philadelphia (8-8) DeSean Jackson They need a WR, and he could be a great one. I don't think he's going to be anything special on offense, but he might go higher than this simply because I think he has a chance to be Devin Hester esque.
