I drive a 1972 Chevy C10 Stepside that i bought for $400. within 2 months of purchasing the truck, the stock 350 was ditched in favor for a 454 with full edelbrock intake/carb/exhaust setup, and a 5-speed manual out of a 91 chevy truck. not pleased with the 610 crank-horses i was getting, i designed a custom, remote-mount twin-turbocharger setup using Garret T13 turbochargers. this produced 1102 crank-horsepower, and 995 horsepower/ 850 lb/ft of torque at the wheel. i wanted more, and nitrous injection was added, giving a final 1405 crank horse, but also cracked the block and threw 2 rods. anyone have a 454 to sell? i'll trade the built 350 i have!
I aim to please! Colin Tennessen, Tennessen Racing Inc.
