first ones a long shot as they may not have snow yet but 9th dec opening day Chamonix. my flights and stuffs all sorted just waiting on the snow  now. I'll be there lunch time till closing with 5 friends.

 

2nd new year in mayrhofen from 30th dec for a week.

 

3rd Fernie BC jan 20th for a week. woo hoo fernie rocks as i've rocked it before.

 

nice to meet up with rider of all abilitys as its just about enjoying some shred. but i'm happy on any run on or off piste and would like to find local riders and local knollage on were some of the more extreme line can be had.

well it should have been chamonix for opening day but when we landed in Swis land every resort near by including cham was shut. There was snow around though as you could clearly see a snow line in the trees not far up the hills from airport level. Verbier was open and thats were we headed to find around 16" of snow at carpark level just like the powder day i'd been prodicting since seeing all the snow on the tree line. a great day was had by all five that went and if you looked for it there was waist deep pow to slash some turns in. Flat light was the main problem of the day but it was a great start to the season i thought.
