Took a snowboarding class from Jan 1 - 3 in Boone, NC and got a college credit for it. Haha. Pretty rad.

We rode Appalachian Ski Mountain the first night until like 10pm which was pretty fun. It's a tiny little hill but pretty fun to mess around on at night. We went to the same mountain the next day and they had the snowblowers going full force. It was almost too much to handle... zero visibility in some places. On the 3rd we went to Sugar Mountain -- which was actually really impressive. Up until this I've only ridden in Tahoe and Aspen so this was my first East Coast snowboarding experience. I live in Atlanta and it's about 4 hours away, but Sugar might be worth the drive. There were a couple other resorts nearby, like Ski Beech and Hawksnest. Anyone ever try these?

Anyway, thought I'd let everyone know how cool it is that I got class credit to ride a snowboard for 3 days.
