The chat rooms have been down for nearly two fucking years now! Who the hell is running this site? I used to come on here all of the time back in the day, and then the chats went off.

WHY THE FUCK HAVE THEY NOT BEEN FIXED?

Seriously, if somebody would get off their ass and STOP SNOWBOARDING for five minutes, maybe we would get this site back, this place is not even half-ass fun anymore.

I'de take snowboarding over working on the site too, but swearing at people or something you know nothing about because you're too stubborn to read, is ignorant. Don't like it? Theres an X located on the top right of your browser, feel free to click it next time you feel like writing out an ill-tempered outburst.

 We got slammed the last few days here.

V3 yada yada, I'm not holding my breath, it'll happen eventually. I like the gnar-community that still exists on the current version. V3 just means more flow through the .COM

As for the chat, our papers we're all ready given it seems, if you happened to notice the top of your profile. Moderator status is irrelevant, and though the date is still iffy, that just means it must be more of a Bang then what I expected. I understand from what I've read and summarized up myself:

 - V3 is going to be completely different then the site before us.
 -Since most of the data was lost//corrupted, and constant server change between the US(Texas HAH) and Canada, V3   has to be virtually from scratch, with the exception of MOST User data it seems.
 - I'm taking a shot that it could be out by early 2009, perhaps January?
 - The problems that are so continuously posted about, are futile in effort. They don't need to be fixed, think of this current .COM as an egg being incubated, soon to hatch open with a whole new look.
 - Perhaps the reason the forum has been left in the dark, is more then likely because the staff is diligently working and doesn't have time to answer the same question every other day.

Like I said, you guys are pretty dank and I'm currently enjoying the lack in over-exuberant amount of teenage spam!
V3 can happen when it happens.

i miss the well-oiled machine that was version 1. before it was called version anything, and it was just snowboard.com. i also miss joe. because he told us what was up when we wanted to know. and because of that time he came to my work and i served him some sort of artery clogging burger. that was pretty cool

he has moved onto the greener pastures of VANOC...he will never return to us :(
