I am looking to build a rail out of PVC piping. Would this be easy to build? How should i build or support the base? Heres my ideas so far, for the base we woudl start with afew 4x4's and some 2x4's that are combined long enough for the rail. the rails are 10 feet long and would run next to acgother. we would attach the 2x4's to the 44's and then after that atach the pipes to the top of the 2x4's. the 4x4's would be sideways to the 2x4's with a few 3 foot 2x4s attached to the bottom of the 4x4s for support. We would drill up through the bottom of the 2x4s into the piping. Would this work? Any suggestions?

Hey Dude. Im not to sure that PVC would work. I would think your edges would catch and digg in eventually stripping the pipe away. But if you already built it ... i bet you did cause this is a post from long ago. Let me know how it works. Im building a rail and steel is expencive... did it work?
