There stood Xarach, scales glistening with red. He cracked his knuckles. in his other pair of hands he cradled a rabbit.
He sneered. that was when i saw that he was toothless. i was wondering how he was able to eat, when he held the rabbit up to his mouth, and stingers shot out of his gums and stung the rabbit. the rabbit screeched and squirmed in pain as it very slowly liquified in his mouth. after a few long minutes, the rabbit had become a soupy liquid, bones and all. Xarach swallowed. then he said, "Ieoor Neixt." (yor nayzh-th) which meant, "time to die." I tried to run, but three tongues, each six feet long, shot out of his mouth and wrapped around me. more stingers came out of his tongues and stung me, injecting me with some type of paralyzation poison. he then slammed me to the ground.
Xarach placed one of his front feet on my chest, and the other on my legs. I could still feel the burn of the poison and the stabs of the stingers. He then whipped his tongues into his mouth, his stingers tearing the flesh on my midriff. I wanted to cringe, to thrash about in immense pain, to cry aloud for help. But i was paralyzed. i could do nothing.
To be continued...
