mommy when i grow up i want to be a vampire (but i know you're not listening) cuz after all why would i want to be out in the sunlight which damages your skin besides making you extremely vulnerable to searching eyes--why should they look at you anyways? there are plenty of other people to look at... and if you really think about it, why wouldn't you want to sleep when the world is viciously attacking itself from every side during the light of hateful day "my shadow's the only one that walks beside me...and the city sleeps and i'm the only one and i walk alone" and why wouldn't you want it this way...
